75 Ton Rubber Tired Gantry Crane

The Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal – Letterkenny Army Depot (ACC-RSA-LEAD) is seeking information from industry to gain knowledge about the supply of a 75 Ton Rubber Tired Gantry Crane. The crane will be used for loading and unloading military assets and Express Containers (CONEX) from rail cars and commercial trailers. The contractor will be responsible for designing, setting up, starting up, and load testing the crane according to Original Equipment Manufacturer specifications and local, state, and federal standards. The contractor must also provide all professional architectural, engineering, and installation services for the preparation of all necessary drawings, specifications, calculations, cost estimates, and related design, permits, fabrication, installation, and testing services. Some key requirements include: * The crane must be powered by a diesel engine capable of providing power for all electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components without being overburdened. * The crane must have two hoists with a lifting capacity rated for no less than 40 tons each. * The crane must have a minimum hook height equal to or greater than 50 feet from foundation elevation. * The crane must be designed to operate and be stored outside in inclement weather. * The contractor must provide a standard commercial warranty or full one year warranty (parts, labor, and shipping, at minimum) for the equipment. * The contractor must provide technical instruction of four (4) Depot personnel in the operation of the equipment and software and four (4) Depot personnel in the maintenance of the equipment supplied under this contract.
