Description
The Army Contracting Command-Rock Island (ACC-RI) is soliciting quotes for the procurement of Brass Round Bar in support of the Rock Island Arsenal Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center. The solicitation is 100% Small Business set-aside, and the Government intends to make a firm-fixed-price award to the responsive, responsible offeror whose quote conforms to the terms and conditions of the solicitation requirements and represents the lowest total price.
The following are key points about the solicitation:
• The total quantity required is 10 foot of Brass Round Bar, Alloy C63000, 6.0-inch Diameter x 5-foot lengths, in accordance with ASTM B150, with the material meeting High Strength Temper TQ50.
• A Certificate of Conformance and a Certified Test Report are required.
• The delivery due date is 4 weeks after the date of the contract, and early delivery is acceptable and authorized at no additional cost to the Government.
• Payment will be made by the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) in accordance with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement 252.232-7006 Wide Area Workflow Payment Instructions.
• The solicitation includes instructions for shipping, delivery, and visitor access to the Rock Island Arsenal.
