Description
The Town of Los Gatos is seeking a professional geotechnical and geological engineering firm to perform peer reviews of geotechnical and geological reports submitted by land development project applicants. The selected firm will be required to have a California licensed Geotechnical Engineer, a California licensed Professional Geologist, and a California Certified Engineering Geologist on staff. The firm will need to respond in a timely and cost-efficient manner, complete project reviews within specified timeframes, and attend public hearings as needed.
• The firm will review geotechnical and geological reports to identify any procedures or conclusions that do not align with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• The firm will provide comments and recommendations for approval.
• The firm will have experience with similar projects and provide references.
• The firm will have a project approach that includes quality control and quality assurance procedures.
• The firm will have a fee schedule and be able to complete projects within the specified timeframes.
