Description
The State of Alabama is seeking a supplier to provide pipette calibration services for its forensic science laboratories. The contract will be awarded for a period of approximately 310 days, from the date of award until September 30, 2026. The supplier must possess and maintain accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 in the field of calibration for on-site testing and on-site calibration of pipettes. The services include single channel pipette calibration level 3, 5 readings, and 3 volumes, with a calibration certificate included. The supplier must also provide a travel fee to the specified laboratories.
• The contract requires the supplier to calibrate pipettes at three different laboratories: Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences Mobile Medical, Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences Montgomery Medical, and Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences Huntsville Medical.
• The supplier must attach a copy of their ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation certificate to their bid response.
• The State of Alabama reserves the right to request written proof of the supplier's qualifications, including manufacturer's reseller authorization, professional licenses, and certificates of insurance.
• The contract will be governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, and any disputes will be resolved through non-binding alternative dispute resolution, including mediation.
