Description
The City of Tuscaloosa is seeking a qualified general contractor to replace the return activated sludge (RAS) pumps and associated valve, platform, and grating systems at the Hilliard N. Fletcher Wastewater Recovery Facility, including demolition, painting, and protective coating work. The project is part of the city’s ongoing wastewater infrastructure improvement program and requires attendance at a mandatory pre‑bid conference.
• Replace existing RAS pumps and related valving in the blower building.
• Demolish and remove obsolete equipment, replace platforms and grating, and apply protective coatings.
• All plans, specifications, and addenda are publicly available for inspection; bids must be submitted sealed by March 2, 2026.
