Sign Pipe

The City of Madison is seeking qualified quotes for sign pipe. The pipe should be steel, galvanized, electric resistance weld, 2” I.D., 2-3/8” O.D., schedule 40, wall thickness .154”, with no threads, and 21 foot lengths. The pipe should be banded in 23 bundles of 26 pieces per bundle, with 7 bands per bundle to keep the bundle solid. The total quantity required is 12,558 LF. The delivery should be on a flatbed truck, with 48-hour advance notice of delivery, and within 60 days after receipt of order. • The City of Madison has adopted a local preference purchasing policy granting a scoring preference to local suppliers. • The bid should include delivered prices only. • The City will award the bid to the responsive and responsible bidder whose bid is most advantageous to the City, considering criteria such as cost, quality/workmanship, compatibility, standardization, and delivery.
