POLAR Neutron Detectors

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking a contractor to supply 85 neutron proportional counters for the POLAR analyzer. The counters must have an outer diameter of 8 mm and an active length of 150 mm, and must meet specific mechanical, electrical, and sensitivity requirements. The contractor must provide a firm-fixed price quotation and deliver the counters within 4 months of receipt of award.
