Elevator Upgrades - Parking Garage and Federal Building

The State University of New York (SUNY) System Administration is seeking engineering consultants to develop contract documents for elevator upgrades at the Federal Building and Parking Garage. The scope of work includes reviewing the elevators, making recommendations for repairs and replacements, developing phased construction documents, and ensuring compliance with New York State codes. The consultant will also be responsible for bidding phase contract administration and construction phase contract administration. The project has MBE, WBE, and SDVOB goals of 16%, 14%, and 6%, respectively. • Review and assess the condition of the elevators • Develop recommendations for repairs, replacements, and reuse of existing equipment • Create phased construction documents • Ensure compliance with New York State codes • Provide cost estimates • Conduct bidding phase contract administration • Conduct construction phase contract administration
