Description
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is seeking a deburring and polishing machine for the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. The machine must meet specific requirements, including a sanding belt oscillation system, pressure units, and a feed table with a fine ground surface. The contractor will be responsible for installing the machine, providing training to shipyard personnel, and warranting the machine against defects for 12 months.
* The machine must have a sanding belt oscillation system with electronic photocell and safety microswitches
* The machine must have pressure units located at the front and rear of each working unit
* The feed table must be made from anti-wear steel with a fine ground surface
* The contractor must provide training to shipyard personnel on the operation and maintenance of the machine
* The contractor must warranty the machine against defects for 12 months
