RFP - Professional Auditing Services

The Queen Anne's County Government is seeking a Certified Public Accounting firm to perform an audit of the county's financial statements for fiscal years 2026, 2027, and 2028. The audit will include a financial audit, compliance audit, and preparation of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR). The selected firm will be required to provide ongoing consultation throughout the year and assist the county in producing financial statements in accordance with GASB standards. The contract will be for a period of three years, with two optional additional years. • The audit will be conducted in accordance with U.S. generally accepted auditing standards and Government Auditing Standards. • The selected firm will be required to have experience auditing similar governmental units and demonstrating ability to assist the county in producing financial statements in accordance with GASB standards. • The firm will be required to provide a price schedule for the services described in the RFP, including any proposed add-ons. • The county reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any irregularities in any proposal or in the proposal procedures.
