Sources Sought High-Temperature Dual Chamber Furnace (Delta H)

The Air Force Test Center, Services Contracting Branch (AFTC/PZIOB) at Edwards AFB, CA, intends to solicit and award a purchase order on a brand-name restricted basis for a Delta H Defender Aerospace Steel Dual Chamber Furnace. The furnace must meet specific technical requirements, including a programmable Eurotherm dual recorder/controller, high limit safety interlocks, and a roll-away oil quench tank. The period of performance is 10-12 weeks. • The furnace must have a certified temperature uniformity survey (TUS) work volume of 24" wide, 12" high, 36" deep, and a radiant heat chamber of 2000°F. • The furnace must have a gas-tight chamber with gas flow control and flow alarm. • The furnace must have thermocouple probes and certification/survey wire/features, including TUS and system accuracy test (SAT). • The furnace must have a digital paperless process recorder with tamperproof batch reporting and AMS2750 process monitoring software. • The furnace must have an overall dimension of 90" high x 66" wide x 102" long, and a weight of 5,500 lbs.
