Description
The Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) is soliciting Letters of Interest from parties interested in obtaining a Request for Qualification (RFQ) Package for the Piers Park Seawall Structural Rehabilitation project. The project involves the design and construction of a seawall revetment for a 260 linear feet section along the shoreline and associated upland work at Piers Park II. The proposed construction cost is estimated at $8,500,000.00.
Key aspects of the project include:
• Demolition of a 250-foot long deteriorated granite and concrete seawall
• Construction of stone revetment in its place
• Design and construction of the seawall and associated upland work
• Preconstruction/design services and implementation of the construction of the project
The RFQ package is anticipated to be released in April 2026 to all parties submitting a Letter of Interest.
