Description
This solicitation seeks a qualified electrical contractor to replace aging electrical panels, switchboards, and associated equipment at the MacCormick Secure Center in Brooktondale, NY. The work includes removal of existing generators and fuel‑oil heating systems, installation of two new 300 kW emergency generators, new automatic transfer switches, upgraded panelboards, conduit, grounding, and fire‑safety compliance, all in accordance with 2025 New York State building, fire, mechanical, and electrical codes. The project is part of a broader facility modernization effort and requires coordination with civil and structural trades, adherence to strict security protocols, and completion of all work within the defined scope.
