OVERHEAD PANTOGRAPH PARTS

The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) is seeking bids for the provision of Overhead Pantograph Parts. The contract will have a term of five years with two optional one-year extensions, for a maximum term of seven years. The successful bidder will be required to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, services, supervision, and incidentals necessary to complete the project. The scope of work includes furnishing Overhead Pantograph Parts, and the contractor must be an authorized reseller of Schunk Carbon Technology LLC. Key aspects of the project include: • The contractor must provide a Certificate of Reported Compliance with the Regulation for In-Use Off-Road Diesel-Fueled Fleets. • The contractor must meet the contract goal for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation. • The contractor must provide bid security in the form of a bid bond. • The contractor must provide payment, performance, and warranty bonds upon award of the contract.
