Design /Build Services for Domestic Water Supply System Repair, Djibouti

The U.S. Consulate General, Frankfurt is seeking a design/build contractor to repair the domestic water supply system at the U.S. Embassy in Djibouti. The project involves the replacement and installation of approximately 920 meters of potable domestic water supply piping, including excavation, installation of new HDPE pipeline, and replacement of existing resilient-seated gate valves. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and services necessary to perform the work. • The project requires the contractor to possess all appropriate permits and licenses to perform construction work in Djibouti. • The contractor must be knowledgeable in written and spoken English. • The contractor will be required to provide information on their ability to work in Djibouti, including any visa requirements and plans to mitigate any risks. • The contractor will be required to provide a letter from a financial institution showing that they will be provided with Irrevocable Letters of Credit (ILOC) totaling 40% of the value of the contract.
