The Palm Beach County Art in Public Places program is seeking an artist or artist team to design and integrate art imagery into the Accoya wood boardwalk railing panels and seat tops at the proposed Cam D. Milani Park. The project includes design development, producing digital fabrication files, mock-ups, fabrication and installation coordination, and oversight. The artist will be responsible for creating art imagery inspired by the local coastal ecology and the historical and cultural heritage of the site. The project has a budget of $57,550 and a deadline of February 6, 2026.
• The project requires the artist to design and integrate art imagery into approximately 1,300-1,600 square feet of boardwalk railing panels and seat tops.
• The artist must ensure that the art design meets the art design goals, including being inspired by the site's coastal ecology and historical and cultural heritage.
• The artist will be required to provide professional digital photographs of the final art installation.
• The project has a tentative schedule, with the call to artists announced on December 23, 2025, and the contract approval expected on July 7, 2026.
