X1DB--Corpus Christi OPC Notice of Intent Succeeding Lease

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs intends to pursue a sole source lease acquisition for approximately 40,660 square feet of laboratory and clinic space in the area of Corpus Christi, TX. The Government is looking for a facility that meets its requirements and is economically and operationally advantageous. The lease term is 20 years, and the anticipated occupancy date is September 13, 2032. The facility must be properly zoned, outside the 100-year floodplain, and compatible with VA operational, clinical, security, and patient access requirements. Interested parties may submit information demonstrating their ability to provide an alternative facility that satisfies VA's requirements. • The facility must have a minimum of 40,660 ANSI/BOMA square feet. • The facility must be located within the specified area in Corpus Christi, TX. • The facility must meet applicable fire/life safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability requirements. • The facility must have adequate utility and infrastructure capacity to support VA's intended use. • The facility must not present unacceptable operational impacts from surrounding uses, noise, vibration, or other site conditions.
