Description
The NYC Health + Hospitals system seeks a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive elevator and escalator maintenance, repair, and code‑compliance services for over 360 units across its facilities. The contract requires 24/7 emergency response, routine preventive maintenance on a detailed daily‑to‑annual schedule, dedicated diagnostics teams, and strict reporting and performance‑metric compliance. Vendors must meet a 5 % MWBE utilization goal (or submit a waiver) and satisfy extensive security and data‑protection requirements.
• Perform preventive maintenance, 24/7 emergency repairs, and Category 1/Category 5 code inspections for all elevators/escalators system‑wide.
• Adhere to a rigorous task checklist (daily, weekly, monthly, annual, and as‑needed tasks) and submit detailed logs, KPIs, and incident reports.
• Maintain on‑site spare‑parts inventory, provide a dedicated diagnostics/testing crew, and meet response‑time SLAs (≤ 2 hrs general, ≤ 1 hr entrapment).
• Comply with NYC H+H’s MWBE utilization plan (5 % goal) and complete the Vendor Security Requirements Checklist.
• Accept contract terms including net‑90 payment, monthly invoicing, and liquidated damages for missed response times or prolonged shutdowns.
