On Call Lineman Services (Re-Bid)

The City of Gallup is seeking licensed and reliable high voltage contractors to provide transmission and distribution system repairs and maintenance needs on an on-call needed basis to include after-hour emergency calls. The contractor will be responsible for providing on-call services, including emergency response, expedited restoration of electrical services, inspection and testing of electrical systems, installation, repair, and maintenance of poles, wires, transformers, and other electrical components. The contractor must have experience in transmission and distribution voltage work, including restoration of power outages, maintenance, and repair of existing electrical infrastructure. The contractor must also have a written safety policy, provide electronic daily reports of work performed, and maintain a documented storm and disaster recovery plan. • The contractor must be able to respond to on-call requests within 6 hours. • The contractor must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in line work. • The contractor must have a commercial driver's license (CDL). • The contractor must have a written safety policy that aligns with OSHA’s regulations. • The contractor must provide electronic daily reports of work performed. • The contractor must maintain a documented storm and disaster recovery plan.
