Fire Alarm Panel Installation and Sprinkler System Upgrade

The City of Santa Clara is seeking bids from qualified contractors to provide all labor, materials, and equipment to install a fire alarm sprinkler system panel and upgrade existing sprinkler system adjacent to the bay doors which are obstructed when open at Fire Station 3. The project requires a mandatory pre-bid conference and the contractor must meet minimum qualifications, including possessing a valid State of California Contractor’s License Class “C-16, Fire Protection Contractor” and being registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. The award will be based on the lowest responsive and responsible quotation that meets all specifications. • The project involves installing a fire alarm sprinkler system panel and upgrading existing sprinkler system at Fire Station 3. • The contractor must provide all labor, materials, and equipment. • The project requires compliance with prevailing wage requirements and registration with the Department of Industrial Relations. • The contractor must submit a “Certificate of Insurance” in accordance with the requirements outlined in Attachment B within ten days after issuance of notice of intended award. • The City may designate incomplete quotes as non-responsive and may award the contract to multiple bidders if it is in its best interest.
