Duluth Campus Annual Small Projects Program

The University of Minnesota is seeking a construction manager to provide services for its Duluth campus annual small projects program. The construction manager will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of assigned program projects, including providing qualified subcontractors. The program will have a term of one year, with optional renewal for two additional one-year terms. The university reserves the right to terminate the construction manager's participation in the program at any time. • The construction manager will be responsible for preconstruction estimating services, construction phase services, and self-performed work. • The university will provide a contract that incorporates the RFP and any RFP attachments, general conditions for the contract for construction, and any RFP modifications agreed to by the university. • The construction manager must have an adequate pool of qualified laborers to respond to university requests quickly and complete work assignments within the requested timeline. • The university will evaluate proposals based on evaluation criteria, including team qualifications, program fees and hourly rates, workforce and equal pay certificates, and safety. • The construction manager must comply with all applicable laws, codes, safety policies and procedures, directives regarding the work, and university policies and procedures.
