Well Maintenance for Swimming Pools

The City of Austin is seeking a contractor to provide maintenance and service to wells that provide water to Austin Parks and Recreation pools. The contractor will be responsible for regular cleaning and maintenance of the wells, as well as providing emergency service within 48 hours. The contract will be for an initial term of 24 months, with the option to extend for up to three additional 12-month periods. The contractor must have a Texas-licensed well service provider and National Groundwater Association or equivalent technician certification. • The contractor will be responsible for clearing debris and vegetation around wellheads • The contractor will supply all tools, chemicals, and replacement parts • The contractor will monitor wells regularly and provide annual and as-needed maintenance tasks to keep the wells producing fresh water for the pools • The contractor must comply with OSHA and environmental protection protocols • The contractor must obtain permits for chemical use and water testing
