Description
The State of Alabama is seeking a qualified vendor to perform chemical site preparation on vegetation at the Choccolocco Site. The contractor will provide all necessary herbicides, surfactants, equipment, and labor to apply treatments by foliar spray and, where needed, cut‑surface or injection methods. Work must be completed between August 1 2026 and October 15 2026, and the vendor must hold the required Alabama commercial custom licenses for forest pest control, right‑of‑way pest control, and ground application. The solicitation is a Quick Quote (RFQ) with a $25,000 contract ceiling based on the standard terms.
• Apply Garlon XRT, Chopper Gen II, Milestone, and surfactant to cover all vegetation per the specified mix (per 100 gal water).
• Perform cut‑surface or injection treatment for any standing stems that are not reached by spray, using a 50% Garlon solution at 1 mL per inch of DBH.
• Supply all chemicals, equipment, and qualified labor; provide current Alabama Department of Agriculture & Industries custom licenses for all required categories.
