Description
The County is seeking a qualified contractor to perform pedestrian‑improvement construction over 1.393 miles of roadway, comprising earthwork, curb and gutter, sidewalks, concrete flat work, asphalt, storm‑drain pipe installation, and related drainage and signing. Bids must be submitted sealed by September 25 2026, with questions due by September 15 2026. Bonds (5 % bid bond, 100 % performance and payment bonds) must have an A‑8 or better rating. Plan sets are available for $50 each. The bid opening will be virtual on September 25 2026 at 3 PM.
• Scope includes clearing & grubbing, grading, 4,690 LF of curb & gutter, 5,856 SY of concrete flat work (sidewalks, markings), 50 TN of asphalt, 100 LF of storm‑drain pipe, and related signage.
• Mandatory bid bond (5 % of bid) and performance/payment bonds (100 % of bid) with A‑8+ rating; all bonds must be submitted with the bid.
