The Virgin Islands Port Authority is seeking bids for marine dredging services at Charlotte Amalie Harbor and Yacht Haven Grande Marina. The project involves dredging the entrance channels, turning basin, and berth pocket to facilitate safe and efficient navigation for large vessels. The contract period is 365 calendar days, and the successful bidder will be required to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the project. The authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding process. • The project includes a bid alternate for additional dredging at Yacht Haven Grande Marina. • The contractor will be responsible for disposing of dredged material at designated locations. • The authority will provide transportation services for site visits. • The contract will include provisions for compliance with federal standards and requirements, including the Clean Air Act and the Federal Water Pollution Control Act.
