The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) are seeking proposals for the 2025 Continuum of Care (CoC) Program Competition. The CoC Program is designed to support efforts by nonprofit organizations and state and local governments to rehouse homeless individuals and families quickly. The program includes those fleeing domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking, in addition to youth and young adults, while minimizing the trauma and upheaval caused by homelessness. The program also supports access to and effective utilization of mainstream programs by those experiencing homelessness. The BCC is accepting one-year project applications for the CoC Program Competition for the 2026-2027 Program Year. Eligible entities include nonprofit organizations, states, local governments, and instrumentalities of state and local governments.
• Key aspects of the job and scope of work include:
• Providing Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH), Rapid Rehousing (RRH), Services Only, and Transitional Housing
• Serving homeless individuals, families, and youth in Palm Beach County
• Participating in Coordinated Entry and becoming a member in good standing of the Homeless and Housing Alliance (HHA)
• Complying with the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) rule and providing services to victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking
• Participating in the Annual Point in Time (PIT) Count and the Annual Housing Inventory Chart (HIC)
• Entering client data into the Client Management Information System (CMIS)
• Providing matching funds in an amount that equals at least 25% of the funds requested
