Town of Barre Paving and Milling

The Town of Barre is seeking bids for hot mix asphalt paving and milling in one contract. The contract includes paving and milling of various roads in the town, with specific scheduling requirements. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to complete the work. The contract will be subject to the current State of Vermont asphalt price adjustment provisions. • The contractor shall provide 65 gyration Superpave mix with 70-28 liquid asphalt for this contract. • The contractor shall supply a certified hot mix test from their supplier for every 500 tons of production to verify against mix design. • The contractor shall repave any milled areas within 14 calendar days of milling. • The contractor shall coordinate paving work with the Barre Town Public Works Department and the Barre Town Engineer at least 1 week prior to initiating any schedule of work. • The contractor shall provide traffic control that complies with the most recent MUTCD. • The contractor shall warranty materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of completion.
