Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) Membership

The San Bernardino County Purchasing Department is seeking proposals from qualified proposers to provide purchasing and acquisition solutions through a Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) membership. The GPO should leverage the purchasing power of the County to obtain discounts from vendors and cut costs. The contract period will be for a maximum of 7 years with three options to extend for additional one-year periods. The County estimates annual expenditures of $80 million. • The proposer should provide purchasing and acquisition solutions that meet or exceed the County's purchasing requirements. • The proposer should have experience working with hospitals of similar size and scope as Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. • The proposer should provide account executive support, including assistance in resolving supplier/vendor issues, monthly status reports, and account analytics. • The proposer should provide contract expiration notifications and recommended contract replacements. • The proposer should provide live and remote training on GPO applications.
