Description
The City of Huntsville is seeking bids for the provision of safety work boots. The contract will be for a period of one year, with four optional one-year renewal periods. The City is looking for a vendor that can provide high-quality boots that meet the requirements of ASTM Standards for Foot Protection and/or OSHA 29 CFR Personal Protection. The vendor must also have a store front located in the City of Huntsville, or be able to deliver to the City of Huntsville Service Center.
• The boots must be made of full grain leather, with the exception of leather/rubber combination for water-resistant boots.
• The boots must have a cushion insole.
• The tint/color of the boots must be either brown/tan or black.
• The vendor must have available stock of all agreed-to boots, and must be able to offer replacement at the same price or stock outs available within 5 business days.
• The vendor must have a minimum of three brands in store.
• The vendor must have store hours of at least 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, except holidays.
