The City of Corona is seeking qualified General Engineering contractors to rehabilitate the backwash tank at the Lester Water Treatment Plant. The work includes demolition, structural repairs, replacement of roof rafters, center column, shell supports, and application of interior/exterior protective coatings. The project will be executed in two phases; the first notice to proceed allows a 160‑day move‑in period, followed by a 70‑working‑day construction window timed to the plant’s winter shutdown. Successful bidders must provide a 10 % bid bond, 100 % performance and payment bonds, and comply with prevailing‑wage, DIR registration, and CARB fleet‑compliance requirements.
