Starksboro Food Shelf Energy Retrofit

The Town of Starksboro is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to complete energy efficiency upgrades at the Starksboro Food Shelf. The project includes air sealing, insulation, and mechanical ventilation upgrades. The selected contractor will be responsible for completing the work, which must meet current Vermont Commercial Building Energy Standards (CBES). The proposal should include a statement of interest, work schedule, budget, and qualifications statement. • The project aims to improve energy efficiency and indoor air quality. • The contractor will be responsible for securing necessary permits and conducting air leakage testing. • The project includes the installation of an ENERGY STAR-rated ventilation system and clean-up/disposal of waste materials. • Preference will be given to firms in the Efficiency Vermont Efficiency Excellence Network (EEN) and those with experience on MERP or similar municipal retrofit projects.
