Farmworkers Advancement Program (FAP) Grant for Program Year 2026-27 (PY 26-27)

The California Employment Development Department (EDD) is offering up to $10 million in grant funding for the Farmworkers Advancement Program (FAP) for FY 2026‑27. The grant supports regional projects that provide skill‑building, up‑skilling, and wrap‑around services (health, housing, career coaching) to farmworkers, helping them secure family‑sustaining jobs or transition out of agriculture. Eligible applicants are nonprofit, public agency, or tribal entities with a proven workforce‑development track record; they must leverage at least 20 % of the budget from other sources. One application per organization is allowed, and eight organizations are expected to be funded.
