Custom vacuum chamber

The SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is seeking a custom vacuum chamber for installation in an existing accelerator beamline. The chamber should have a stainless steel frame, electropolished, with removable and customizable Al plate covers and O-ring seals. The dimensions of the chamber should be approximately 13.75 x 24 x 30 inches with a 1-inch wall thickness, and the vacuum level should be around 1e-6 torr. The chamber should also have separate breadboard on the floor, handles, and lifting points added to all removable face covers. The vendor should provide detailed engineering as part of the quote. • The chamber will be used to contain various diagnostics and plasma targets. • The vendor should provide a price and lead time quotation by COB 11/10/2025. • The source selection will be based on the Lowest Price and Technically Acceptable Method (LPTA). • The technical evaluation criteria include price, lead time, design compliance, testing, and certification. • The vendor should register in the System for Award Management (SAM) and comply with the Buy American Act Certification and Representations & Certifications Rider.
