The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) is issuing an Industry Notice for a potential upcoming solicitation to modernize and integrate its physical security infrastructure. The project involves evaluating the existing Physical Access Control System (PACS) and Video Management System (VMS), and implementing AI-enabled advanced technologies to enhance facility protection. The selected contractor will be responsible for upgrading and integrating the existing systems, ensuring compliance with NERC CIP Standards, and providing training and maintenance services. • The contractor must have experience managing large-scale AI-enabled physical security system implementations. • The contractor must have experience working with government agencies or public utilities. • The contractor must have certifications in LenelS2 OnGuard access control and Genetec Security Center Omnicast platforms. • The contractor must have a Registered California Professional Engineer in Electrical Engineering. • The contractor must have comprehensive knowledge of FERC/NERC CIP Standards compliance.
