Fort Knox Vo-Tech Enabling Project - Sources Sought Notice

The US Army Corps of Engineers is conducting a market survey to determine if there are a reasonable number of interested small business concerns to set this future project aside for them. The project involves the renovation of the Vo-TECH building and associated restrooms for the relocation of the existing Community Superintendent Office (CSO) at Ft. Knox, KY. The total renovation is approximately 9,594 SF. The project also includes the construction of an access road and the renovation of available spaces in the Ft. Knox MHS Gymnasium. • The project is a design-bid-build (DBB) construction project. • The anticipated period of performance is 365 calendar days. • The estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. • Small businesses are reminded that they must perform at least 15% of the cost of the contract with their own employees. • Responses should include identification and verification of the company's small business status, contractor's unique entity identifier number and CAGE code(s), and documentation from the firm's bonding company.
