Description
The Pender County is seeking bids for the construction of a new 20,000 sf library and associated site improvements. The work includes building construction, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and fire sprinkler. A 5% bid bond is required, and the contract shall be Single Prime. The project site is adjacent to Pender County Hampstead Annex and is available for all contractors and subcontractors.
• The library will have a wood structure, masonry veneer, building insulation, interior painting, carpet, resilient and tile flooring, and acoustical tile ceilings.
• The project includes construction of a new library and associated site improvements.
• Minority businesses, including M/WBE, HUB, minority, and women-owned businesses, are encouraged to respond to the bid.

• Contractors must be properly licensed and must exemplify the skill, judgment, integrity, sufficient financial resources, and ability necessary to the faithful performance of the construction contract.
