Description
The New York City Department of Parks and Recreation seeks a qualified contractor to fully renovate, then operate and maintain an indoor tennis and sports facility located at the Cunningham Park Tennis Courts in Queens. The work includes complete interior and exterior renovation of the building, installation of new flooring, lighting, HVAC, and sports equipment, followed by ongoing day‑to‑day operations, programming, staffing, and facility upkeep for an extended period.
• Renovation scope: structural repairs, new courts, lighting, HVAC, locker rooms, and spectator areas.
• Operations scope: scheduling courts, staffing (coaches, attendants), delivering sports programs, routine maintenance and cleaning.
• Required capabilities: experience in sports‑facility construction, proven facility‑management track record, ability to meet city‑wide procurement standards, and capacity to sustain long‑term operational services.
