Description
The Borough of Atlantic Highlands seeks a qualified attorney to serve as its Labor Attorney for the 2021 calendar year. The attorney will represent the Borough in collective‑ bargaining negotiations with the Police Benevolent Association, Municipal Employees Association, and Municipal Services Association, prepare and review contracts, attend meetings with municipal officials, and provide ongoing labor‑law advice and document review. Compensation is on an hourly‑fee basis with reimbursement for out‑of‑pocket expenses, and the contractor must meet stringent insurance, ethical, and certification requirements.
• Minimum 8 years experience in New Jersey municipal labor law
• Provide representation in contract negotiations, prepare resolutions, and respond to labor‑related inquiries
• Submit a sealed hard‑copy and electronic proposal by 11 a.m. on Dec 8 2020; award anticipated Jan 1 2021 for a one‑year term
