Maintenance and Repair Services

The City of Portland is seeking bids for maintenance and repair services at its temporary homeless shelters. The contractor will be responsible for providing general maintenance and minor repairs, including carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing services. The contractor must respond to maintenance requests within 24 hours of notification and complete routine maintenance tasks between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew. • The contractor must have experience in providing maintenance and repair services. • The contractor must have a strong understanding of carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems. • The contractor must be able to respond to emergency requests within 2 hours and be on-site within 4 hours. • The contractor must be able to work independently and as part of a team. • The contractor must be able to communicate effectively with City staff and shelter residents.
