Description
Yakima County is seeking a qualified contractor to provide a full‑service waste‑management solution for used motor oil, spent antifreeze, and oil filters generated at multiple county locations. The contractor will be responsible for weekly collection of bulk oil from 11 sites, rapid (≤5 business days) pickup of containerized antifreeze and filters, on‑site testing of chlorinated solvents, provision of UN‑approved drums, and detailed reporting (weekly bill of lading, disposal certificates, annual volume reports). Payment to the county for oil is based on a percentage of the West Texas Intermediate (WTI) spot price per gallon; the contractor will be paid by the county for antifreeze and filter disposal on a fixed per‑unit rate. The contract term is one year with an optional one‑year extension, and the award will go to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
