Description
The State of Alabama is seeking a qualified lift inspector to perform an annual inspection of a 4-post lift at the Jasper District Shop. The inspection should include a structural inspection of posts, runways, crossbeams, welds, platforms, railings, overhead structures, and other components. The inspector should also evaluate the controls and safety devices, hydraulics and pneumatics, and moving parts. The selected inspector should be preferably ALI certified and should include travel time and mileage in their quote if applicable.
• The inspection should be performed at the Jasper District Shop located at 542 Cordova CutOff Road, Jasper, AL 35501.
• The lift to be inspected is a Rotary SM300 model.
• The inspection should include checks for cracks, corrosion, and other defects.
• The inspector should evaluate the hardware and anchorage, controls and safety devices, and hydraulics and pneumatics.
• The inspector should also inspect moving parts, such as chains, cables, rollers, and sliders, for wear and tear, tension, tracking, lubrication, and guards at potential pinch points.
