U.S. Army Group 4+ S/VTOL Summit

The U.S. Army is hosting the Group 4+ S/VTOL Summit to gather industry expertise and foster collaboration for the development of Short/Vertical Takeoff and Landing (S/VTOL) Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). The summit will take place from 10-12 March 2026 in Huntsville, AL. The Army is interested in industry expertise across various areas, including air vehicles, UAS sensors and payloads, autonomy, and on-board mission software. The primary objectives of the summit are to solicit industry participation, expand collaboration, and inform acquisition strategy. Key areas of focus include: • S/VTOL design and takeoff/landing performance • UAS sensors and payloads, such as EO/IR and SAR • Autonomous operations and collision avoidance • On-board mission software and control of C2/survivability systems
