Description
The State of Illinois is seeking bids for the construction of a noise abatement wall along the Tri-State Tollway (I-294) between Mile Post 17.6 and Mile Post 23.0 in Cook County. The project includes the construction of a ground-mounted noise wall, staining of moment slabs and parapets, staining of retaining walls, noise wall blocking assembly installation, erosion and sediment control, landscape work, and maintenance of traffic. The work is expected to start on or about August 17, 2026, and be completed by May 15, 2027.
• The bid preference for Illinois businesses will be applied to this project.
• The bidder must be registered as a small business in the Illinois Procurement Gateway (IPG) at the time bids are due.
• The bidder must submit an affidavit and supporting documents demonstrating that the bidder is an Illinois business and eligible for the 4% bid preference.
• The bidder must provide a bid bond and other required documents with their bid submission.
