Description

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is seeking a vendor to provide an Electro-Mechanical Dynamic Load Frame System. The system should have a static force capacity of ±1,500 lbf or more, a dynamic force capacity of ±2,200 lbf or more, and a dynamic torque capacity of ±800 lbf-in or more. The system must also have a total linear stroke capacity of at least 2 inches and a total rotation capacity of at least ±120°. The vendor will be responsible for on-site installation, training, and providing a one-year comprehensive warranty. Key features of the system include: • Floor-standing and dual support column design • Oil-free design to minimize contamination potential • Leveling feet or plates to ensure the frame is level with the floor • Operating temperature range of +12 to +30 °C or wider • Allowable operating humidity of 10% to 90% (non-condensing) • Safety interlocks and emergency stop capabilities • Optional safety guard compatibility The FDA will evaluate proposals based on technical acceptability and price. The lowest priced offer will be evaluated first, and if it is not technically acceptable, the next lowest priced offer will be evaluated.
