NOTICE of Intent to SOLE SOURCE - Ouster Inc.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to sole source the procurement of one Ouster OS2 long-range lidar sensor. This sensor is capable of detecting, tracking, and classifying personnel, vehicles, and obstacles at distances up to 400 meters. The sensor will be integrated into the Machine Situation Awareness (MSA) research framework. • The sensor must be able to detect and track personnel, vehicles, and obstacles at distances up to 400 meters. • The sensor will be used for research purposes in the MSA framework. • The procurement is a sole source procurement, meaning that only one vendor will be selected.
