Three Rivers Transit Center Security Windows

Benton Franklin Transit (BFT) is seeking a qualified contractor to remove the existing walk-up service window and lobby service counter glazing systems and install new bullet-resistant glazing and panel systems at the Three Rivers Transit facility in Kennewick, Washington. The selected contractor will be responsible for complete installation and integration of both the new systems, including any required demolition, disposal, framing modifications, finishes, and related work necessary for a fully functional installation. The project includes compliance with all applicable federal, Washington State, and local laws, codes, regulations, and permitting requirements. Key aspects of the project include: • Demolition and removal of existing storefront glazing and framing • Installation of bullet-resistant glazing systems at the interior service counter and exterior walk-up window • Provision of required glazing features, including voice ports and transaction openings • Coordination with local authorities and obtaining all required permits • Maintenance of safe operation of an occupied public facility during phased construction
