Description
The United States Navy is seeking integrated technical assistance services to support repairs to the Main Reduction Gear (MRG) aboard the USS West Virginia (SSBN 736). The contractor will provide OEM Field Service Representative(s) necessary to execute MRG repair efforts, including inspecting MRG internal components, submitting a Condition Found Report (CFR), providing recommendations for additional inspections and repairs, and providing on-site technical support. The contractor will also provide technical oversight and field service supervision, including monitoring execution to ensure adherence to approved procedures and acceptable workmanship standards.
• The contract type is anticipated to be a Firm-Fixed Price.
• The period of performance is from 21 July 2026 through 21 December 2026.
• The applicable NAICS code for the subject requirement is 336612-Boat Building.
• The contractor will provide all technical support and manpower as required to execute the scope defined in the Statement of Work.
• The government will not pay for information, materials, and/or demonstrations received in response to this RFI/Sources Sought Notice.
