Yellowtail WHMA Fence Project - Wyoming Game & Fish

The Wyoming State Construction Department is seeking bids for the Yellowtail WHMA Fence Project. The project involves the removal, disposal, and installation of fence at the Yellowtail Wildlife Habitat Management Area. The project includes all mobilization, equipment, materials, and labor. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on July 22, 2026. Bids must be submitted through the Public Purchase online bidding system by August 13, 2026. • The project requires the construction of approximately 9,000 linear feet of wildlife-friendly stock fence. • The project includes the removal of existing fence and disposal at a Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) approved facility. • The project requires the installation of two 16-foot steel livestock gates. • The fence line will be four wires, spaced at 18 inches, 22 inches, 28 inches, and 42 inches from the ground. • All wire ends will be wrapped twice around the end brace post. • Wires will be stapled to every wood post.
