MAILBOX ONLY - Notice of Funding Availability and Application for Community Based Organizations (CBO) to provide LGBTQ+ services

The City of Fresno is soliciting proposals from community-based organizations to provide services to the LGBTQ+ community. The city has allocated $100,000 in funding, with a maximum award of $50,000 per organization. Proposals should address one or more of the following focus areas: physical and mental health, housing and basic needs, gender-affirming and culturally competent care, and youth and aging. Proposers should describe their community outreach, engagement, education, and assistance services, as well as their metrics for measuring program success. • The city is seeking proposals that align with its priorities, including improving access to LGBTQ+ affirming medical and mental health care, improving access to permanent housing, and addressing age-related needs. • Proposers should demonstrate their ability to provide culturally responsive and inclusive services, reducing language barriers and other obstacles to care. • The city will review proposals based on their alignment with city priorities, financial sustainability, and outreach and assessment capabilities. • The city reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, and to waive minor irregularities in any proposal submitted for funding consideration.
