EXTRADITION SERVICES NO. II

The County of Ocean is seeking a contractor to provide extradition services, including the transportation of prisoners from and to locations specified by the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office. The contractor will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation, complying with all applicable laws and regulations, and maintaining the security and control of prisoners during transport. The contractor must have at least three years of experience in transporting prisoners, an operational transportation system that operates 24/7, and provide three references for similar services. The contractor will be required to provide a staffing matrix, operating procedures manual, and personnel requirements, among other things. • The contractor must transport prisoners in a professional, safe, and efficient manner. • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. • The contractor must maintain the security and control of prisoners during transport. • The contractor must provide a minimum of two transporting agents for all modes of transportation. • The contractor must separate male and female prisoners during transport. • The contractor must provide meals, lodging, and miscellaneous costs for its employees and prisoners during the term of the contract.
